La Fortuna, September 27, 2023. – This Saturday, September 30, more than 25 businesses from Huetar Norte and the Caribbean will be at the Polideportivo de La Fortuna to exhibit their products to the public, and participate in business roundtables, where they will have personalized meetings with companies in the region in search of new customers.
The activity seeks to promote the commercialization of products and services of the enterprises benefited by the Gente de la Asociación Costa Rica por Siempre project, which in the last two years has promoted more than 100 green and blue enterprises and businesses in the country and this weekend it is the turn of the beneficiaries in Huetar Norte and Caribe, the last of the activities in three regions.
Tourism services, agricultural inputs, bio-inputs, handicrafts and food will be the products and services of the micro, small and medium-sized enterprises that will be present at the business tables, in order to continue contributing to economic reactivation while protecting the environment.
The participating companies include stories of green and blue ventures that emerged in response to the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic and have managed to survive to this day and seek to continue strengthening their economic, social and environmental development.
One of the participants in this event is Luis Jiménez of the Centro Agrícola Cantonal para el Progreso de Sarapiquí (CACPROSA), a company of producers who collect and market organic and sustainable agriculture.
“We produce and market bio-inputs, we have the service of agricultural machinery and equipment, we also provide crop advisory services and we peel and market plantains at the plant,” said Jiménez, who was also a beneficiary of the Gente project.
