This Tuesday, February 14, we signed an alliance between Forever Costa Rica Association and MarViva with which we will be able to implement “Pesca Con Ciencia” in more communities.
This initiative seeks to consolidate information from artisanal fisheries to promote management measures for species of fishing interest and the welfare of coastal communities, as part of our actions to promote the blue economy.
The signing ceremony was attended by our executive director, Katy de la Garza, and the director of Fundación Marviva, Jorge Jiménez, together with the teams of both NGOs.
We support coastal communities that carry out participatory fisheries monitoring to promote the conservation and sustainable use of the sea!
