We
We are the Forever Costa Rica Association, a private non-governmental organization, created in 2010 as the second PFP in the world, a model of financing projects for permanence (PFP). (PFP).
We were born under a public-private partnership to support the country in meeting the goals of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) of the United of the United Nations.
Our mission is to leverage partnerships and manage resources for biodiversity conservation and human well-being.
We are dedicated to managing, investing and mobilize resources from governments, international organizations and private foundations that seek to conserve biodiversity.
We manage funds providing technical follow-up to projects, executing projects and building long-term planning instruments, together with multiple partners, to guarantee the sustainability of our actions.
We work throughout Costa Rica through our Protected Areas Program. Protected Areas Program and the Green and Blue Economy Program.
In addition, we are part of international initiatives such as the PACIFICO Foundation such as the PACIFICO Foundation, where we collaborate for the conservation of biodiversity in the Eastern Tropical Pacific Ocean; and the Latin American and Caribbean Network of Environmental Funds (RedLAC).
Our team is multidisciplinarytrained and committed. We believe in working in alliances with various sectors.
